My still life paintings are staged scenes using items I find at resale shops. These works are part of the "Tchotchke Series." I found this cute ceramic bear at a local resale shop. Sometimes, the staged scenes become tongue-in-cheek creations. I ponder a concept and then set up props for a composition with a title that garners a smile.
