This fine art print is from my first "Tchotchke Series" painting, where I stage still lifes using collectibles from local resale shops. When I saw this porcelain cat, I was excited to stage it in front of a window, where I accentuated the reflections of light. Its smooth porcelain and bent-head stance gave off a feeling of eminence and feline calm.
